Release date is December 18th. The album is full of soul music lovelyness from the writing duo Louise & Steve coming out of Newcastle, UK.
SouLutions are an 11 piece band from Newcastle. Formed in 2014 by Steve Lee & Louise Mehan to showcase songs they had written over a 7 year period, they are heavily influenced by their love of Philly & Modern Soul. Their first release was “Listen” remixed by the Drizabone Soul Family, which stormed up the soul charts, played across the airways & was named UK Soul song of the year. It then spent 18 weeks in the Soul chart peaking at no 2, & No 1 Solar Radio Sweet Rhythms Chart. This track attracted rave reviews in both Europe & the USA. SouLutions were launched with a bang! Throughout this time the band developed a fantastic live sound with experience gained from supporting Soul superstars like Jean Carne, Roy Ayers, The Dramatics & Tom Browne to name a few. 2016 saw another game changer released … “I got to Party”. After spending several weeks at no 2 in the Soul chart, it was further boosted when legendary DJ John Morales decided to remix it. As well as touring throughout this period, SouLutions recorded what many believe to be their best work to date in the single “Thankful” followed by their second album in September.
In 2018 SouLutions released their second album which as well as being a number one chart success produced a further 2 number one singles, “Thankful” and “I Got to Party”, the latter being remixed by the legendary New York DJ John Morales. In August 2019 SouLutions released their third studio album Fate, the single “Who’s Been Kissing You” which features on the new album was released in March 2019 and went to number one in Solar Radio Sweet Rhythms Chart. The album its self claimed the number one spot not only in the Solar Sweet Rhythms Chart but also the UK Soul Chart. In July 2019 SouLutions were awarded runner up for the best Soul Band in the Soul Survivors Magazine Awards 2020 sees SouLutions kicking off their new Anthology Tour bringing you the music from 3 albums released over the last 5 years featuring all of their hits including Listen, I got to Party, Philly Line, Thankful, Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, Who’s Been Kissing You plus many more all in one new show.
