Jo Jo Miles love of music started when she was 3 years old, listening to disco, soul and Funk. Then her love of the soul music scene really took off in her teenage years, growing up in the 1980’s to the sound of funk, rare groove, soul, Disco, boogie and hip hop was the beginning of Jo’s passion to become a DJ.
Jo’s music influences are disco, 70`s and 80`s soul, funk, current soul, classic, coulful, jackin, funky, disco house, 90`s r&b and of course anything old skool.Jo Jo commented “I love to find the old classics remixed for the modern generation”
Jo Jo is a resident Dj at Soul Actually In Brighton and shes played at some fantastic venues including Never Frogotten in Hornchurch and more recently in memory of George Harry and Josh.
Her philosophy is “If its got a beat that get my feet tapping and me up dancing..then I will play it, You are never to old to follow a dream and my dream has come true”
